Danis Signs with Gonzaga Cross Country and Track

Graduate transfer joins the Zag roster for 2021-22 season
SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's cross country and track Head Coach Jake Stewart announced the signing of Elisabeth Danis Sunday.
"Elisabeth's personality and background will fit right in our program," Stewart said. "Coming to us from the University of New Hampshire, where she had a great career, Elisabeth brings a wealth of experience to a group here now that returns a lot of talent from last year. Elisabeth's values, work ethic and the goals she's still striving for will have an incredible influence on our program not only next year, but in the years ahead."

Danis will join the Zags as a graduate transfer in 2021-22, after a standout career at the University of New Hampshire. She led UNH to the 2019 America East Cross Country title, by finishing as the individual runner-up. She was named America East All-Conference First Team following her second place finish. Danis was named to the America East All-Academic Team in 2020, and to the league's academic honor roll in 2020 and 2019.
