Women’s Tennis Drops Minnesota Match

LOS ANGELES – Gonzaga women's tennis dropped its match versus Minnesota 4-0 on Saturday at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Zags (1-3) and Gophers (2-2) played only singles matches on the day, with UM taking the first four to finish to clinch the match.
GU battled with Kate Ketels and Taylor Gruber each winning a set in their matches before each went unfinished. Ketels won the first 6-3 and was on serve at 5-6 in the second before the Gophers clinched. Gruber won her first set 6-2, but was on serve at 3-4 in the third at the conclusion.
Gonzaga will open their home schedule in their next match with Idaho visiting the Stevens Center on Feb. 1. Check GoZags.com for links to live coverage.
