Tuckwood Signs with Women’s Cross Country and Track

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's cross country and track head coach Jake Stewart announced the signing of Sadie Tuckwood Tuesday.

Tuckwood joins GU after a stellar career at Juneau-Douglas High School. She finished second in the Alaska Girls 4A State Championships this past season. Tuckwood's personal records in the 5k is 17:37.7, 5:04.69 in the 1,600 meters and 10:45.86 in the 3,200 meters.
"A lot to be excited about with Sadie joining our program," Stewart said. "She's shown really great consistency on the track throughout her high school career, and she's coming off her best cross country season to date. Sadie's got the chance to come into our program and help us continue to move forward. We're happy Sadie is going to be a Zag."
