Favorite Sports Team?
Seattle Mariners.
Favorite sports-related movie?
The Blind Side.
What is your favorite memory as a Zag?
Receiving an athletic scholarship after walking on to the team in the spring of 2017.
What does it mean to be a Zag?
To be a Zag means that you're not only working to succeed on the court for your team, friends, family, coaches and school, but you're making efforts to succeed in your social life, academic life, and prepare yourself to be the best person after school.
What attracted you to Gonzaga?
I went to college my freshman year at Washington State where I didn't play volleyball and I thought I was done with the sport. I instantly regretted not playing in college and started contacting as many schools I could to see if I could get a spot on their team. After hearing back from Gonzaga, I was invited down from Pullman for a visit and Hailey Dunn and Faith Smith gave me a tour and welcomed me into the Zag community instantly. I fell in love and I knew I needed to move my college career to Spokane.
What do you enjoy most about playing this sport?
I fell in love with volleyball as a kid. Not playing my freshman year is one of my biggest regrets and knowing that my career may soon be coming to the end after this next season makes me so sad. This sport has given me so many opportunities, my best friends, and a family. It's a community that no one can really truly understand unless you're in it.
What advice do you have for prospective Gonzaga student-athletes?
Don't be afraid, Gonzaga will take care of you. You will find your family hear. Also, be sure to pack snow boots lol
