Men's Rowing to Western Sprints on Saturday

May 13, 2016 SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga men’s rowing team will be on the hunt for a berth to nationals on Saturday at the Western Sprints Regatta in Sacramento, Calif.
Gonzaga will face Oklahoma City, San Diego, UC San Diego and Santa Clara across the Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8 and Third Varsity 8 boats. With a win, Gonzaga can guarantee itself a spot in the IRA Nationals on June 3-5 in Mercer Lake, N.J.
The Zags will take on the following teams in each race:
Varsity 8: Gonzaga, Oklahoma City, San Diego, UC San Diego, Santa Clara
Second Varsity 8: Gonzaga, San Diego, UC San Diego, Santa Clara
Third Varsity 8: Gonzaga, UC San Diego, Santa Clara
