Bulldogs To Co-Host GU/EWU Fall Classic This Weekend

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team returns to the courts this weekend, co-hosting the GU/EWU Classic with Eastern Washington University beginning Friday in Cheney, Wash.
Players from the University of Idaho, Seattle University, the University of Montana, the University of Portland and Portland State University will also take part in the Classic.
A young Bulldog roster that includes just one senior, five sophomores and four freshmen had every player pick up a win in last week's Cougar Classic down in Pullman, Wash. The Zags posted 20 wins overall and were led by freshman Monica Price who posted a 4-0 record and captured the top spot in the #4 Singles bracket.
Matches are scheduled to be played Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the campus of EWU.
