SPOKANE, Wash. - Joe Miller finished second in the 5,000 meters Saturday at the Dusty Lane Open track and field meet at the Community Colleges of Spokane.
Miller, who earlier this year set the school record in the event, crossed the finish line in 15:10.35 behind Curtis Sarver of Eastern Washington University who won in 14:59.72. Colby Litzenberger was fourth in 15:33.57, Baraka Poulin seventh in 16:13.43 and Eric Mendoza ninth in 16:47.59 to round out the Bulldog contingent in the event.
Ken Santman finished eighth at 800 meters in a personal-best 2:05.55 and took third in the 1,500 meter run in 4:11.81.
On the women's side, Molly Funk was fourth in the 1,500 meter run in 5:15.07.
