EUGENE, Ore. - Senior Jill Semenza continued to have solid showings as she nears the end of her Gonzaga University running career. Semenza placed sixth in her section of the 5,000 meter run at the University of Oregon Invitational.
Semenza posted a time of 17:38.43 just one second behind Mary Torres of Chico State for fifth position. Julie Fisher of the Northern Arizona won the section with a time of 17:14.58.
