Men's Crew Sets Times For Fawley Cup

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University men's crew will be looking for its 17th straight win Saturday in the annual Fawley Cup Regatta as the Bulldogs travel south to Pullman, Wash., to face Washington State University at Wawawai Landing.
Racing begins at 8 a.m. with the Novice 8, followed by the Varsity 8 at 8:10 a.m., the Novice/JV Mixed 8 at 8:40 a.m. and the Novice 4 at 8:50 a.m.
Gonzaga edged WSU by one second last year to capture the cup and defeated the Cougars by three-seconds earlier this year at the San Diego Crew Classic.
Gonzaga is coming off a solid weekend in which the Bulldogs won their fourth straight Blue Cup Regatta over Western Washington. Gonzaga's men's varsity eight also knocked off Puget Sound and Lewis and Clark in at Silver Lake last weekend. Gonzaga's other boats also had a strong showing last week with wins in the Novice 8+ and Novice 4+ races.
