SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University picked up two wins as the Bulldogs entered runners in three events at the CCS Mini held on March 10-11 at the Community Colleges of Spokane.
Senior Jill Semenza easily won the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:57.98 with Ashley Gibbs of Whitworth finishing second at 5:11.48.
Gonzaga also entered runners in the Mixed 5,000 meter run with Brian Kramer and Emily Buck finishing third and fourth. Kramer posted a time of 17:40.20 finishing behind a pair of Whitworth runners. Chris Baldwin won the race at 17:14.20.
Buck was the top female finisher in the 5,000 meters with a time of 19:26.10. She was 50-seconds faster than the next female runner. Libby Brands and Amanda Gillman also competed for Gonzaga. Brands was 9th overall and Gillman 12th.
