SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University redshirt freshman Ken Santman was the Bulldogs lone representative at the Dusty Lane Open held at the Community Colleges of Spokane on March 18. Santman competed in the men's 800 meter and 1,500 meter events.
Santman had a strong showing in the 1,500 meters finishing in fifth place with a time of 4:18.52. Andrew Fuller of CCS won the event edging out Rick Bogatay of CCS. Fuller posted a time of 4:03.52 with Bogatay right behind at 4:03.86.
Santman finished in 11th position in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:08.49. Brandon Howell of Whitworth won the race at 1:54.77.
