WSU Sweeps Gonzaga 7-0

PULLMAN, Wash.- Gonzaga University sophomore Emily Anderson and freshman Carrie Schofield won their No. 2 doubles match on Friday afternoon against host Washington State University, but the Cougars still prevailed 7-0.
Anderson and Schofield won their doubles match 8-2 defeating Ekaterina Burduli and Bianca Selaru.
WSU won the doubles point by winning the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches. The Cougars swept Gonzaga in singles play as the Bulldogs managed just three singles points.
Gonzaga returns home to face No. 41 University of Colorado on Sunday at the Spokane Racquet Club at 10 a.m.
