GU Rowing Announces Dedication Of New Indoor Facility

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's and women's rowing programs have announced that the 2005 alumni weekend will take place in Spokane on Oct. 21-23 with events scheduled for all three days. Alumni are invited to a social at Heroes and Legends Sports Bar on Friday night starting at 7 p.m. Saturday is chalked full of events starting with the Head of the Spokane Regatta at 10 a.m. on the Spokane River at the GU Boathouse. Saturday night will conclude with the dedication of Gonzaga's new indoor rowing facility in the McCarthey Athletic Center. The night's festivities will kick-off with a social hour in the Pohlad Lobby followed by the dedication at 7 p.m. The weekend wraps up with the annual Class Day Races and Boat Dedication at the GU Boathouse at 10 a.m. Sunday morning.
