Women's Tennis Signs MacWilliam to NLI

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University head women's tennis coach D.J. Gurule has announced the signing of Kristen MacWilliam to a National Letter of Intent.
MacWilliam, a native of Scottsdale, Ariz., will enter Gonzaga University as a freshman in the fall of 2006 and begin playing tennis for the Bulldogs for the 2007 season. She is currently ranked No. 200 in the USTA national rankings and No. 8 in the Southeast Region.
The Arcadia High senior has placed third in the state of Arizona 4A singles as a sophomore and placed third in doubles play as a junior. MacWilliam was named to the Scottsdale Tribune's first-team All-State as a junior.
