The Bulldogs swept all three races to amass 30 points followed by the University of San Diego which finished with 23 to capture second for the fifth straight year and sixth time in the history of the event. Santa Clara University finished third overall with 13 points followed by Loyola Marymount University (11) and Saint Mary's College (7).

Gonzaga's varsity four consisted of coxswain Melissa Hayes, Brianna Morin, Sarah Allison, Mariah Smith-Miloff and Kate Goudreau.
"It was a good race. There were some fast times," Gonzaga head coach Glenn Putyrae said. "We needed to win the varsity eight to win the championship. I don't think the team knew that because they were on the water and they didn't know what had already happened. But I knew."
Putyrae said the Bulldogs varsity "didn't get the lead until the final fifty feet and won by about five feet. It was that close."
The Bulldogs were rewarded for their championship by landing three members on the All-WCC team in Savoca, Neimiec and Bokulich. Neimiec and Bokulich are repeaters from last year's title team. San Diego also placed three members on the all-conference team in Kim Cupini, Kelly Vanek and coxswain Kirsten Davis. Rounding out the all-conference team were LMU's Vanessa Glendenning, SMC's Breanne Jackson, and Santa Clara's Amanda Kremer. San Diego's Leeanne Crain was named the Coach of the Year.
