Women's Tennis Opens Spring Season With A Win

LEWISTON, Ida. - Gonzaga women's tennis won the four, five and six seeded matches on Saturday afternoon to escape with a 4-3 victory over Lewis-Clark State. Angela Fry also won the two seed match in order to secure the win for Gonzaga.

6. Casey Tolstedt (GU) def. Daniela Poeschl (LCSC), 6-2, 6-3

2. Keng/Wright (LCSC) def. Taio Miller/Buterbaugh (GU), 8-5

Gonzaga will now face a heavy weekend of competition in the Spokane area as the Bulldogs have four matches against Montana, Eastern Washington, Portland State and Hawai'i all slated for this coming weekend.
